Mining and Health and Safety Training Facilitator(4 positions available-2 juniors/2 seniors) 

Job description
Safety

  • Demonstrate personal commitment to safety and environmental and social responsibility practices.
  • Adhere to Local Law and Adriatic Metals H&S Management System, agreed procedures, safeguards, and controls.
  • Conduct in-field safety interactions. 
  • Coaching others in effective Hazard identification and Controls application. 

Operating Discipline

1.    Material Development

  • Contribute to the development of training content within the approved Technical Training Framework as required. 
  • Prepare, update, and maintain appropriate knowledge assessments related to training content.
  • Ensure that training content are updated as conditions and procedures in the operating environment change to ensure up to date and relevant training content.
  • Maintain training and assessment content in LMS in accordance with internal standards and procedures.

2.    Content Delivers

  • Plan training sessions in accordance with annual training plan monthly completing the following activities:
  • Booking training participants on planned training courses in LMS
  • Arrange attendance with supervisors and inform participants.
  • Book training venues and arrange food and transport if required.
  • Prepare training materials.
  • Follow-up and ensure attendance.
  • Analyse learner feedback and propose improvements.
  • Deliver planned training content in a suitable format (E-Learning, Face to Face or in the workplace) meeting quality and approved delivery plan requirements.
  • Facilitate the verification of competence process underground as scheduled and planned.
  • Organize and monitor External Provider Training as per scope of work.

Record Keeping and Reporting

  • Update and maintain individual training matrixes.
  • Keep accurate and updated training records (training records for both internal and external training, attendance sheets, results of learner assessments, and learning program evaluations) in the Company Learning Management System.
  • Prepare feedback reports of progress against monthly and annual training plans for areas of responsibility.
  • Maintain accurate records of training support equipment and assets.

Requirements 

  • VSS-Bachelor in Mining Engineering, OHS or other technical faculty.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • 3-5 years of experience in same or similar roles (for senior candidates)
  • Up to one year of experience for junior candidates 
  • Health and Safety Knowledge: Substantial experience in health and safety, including a deep understanding of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Experience in mining, construction or heavy equipment industry preferred.
  • Previous training or teaching experience preferable
  • Excellent knowledge MS Office
  • Driving license B category
